Sipping “yummy” through summer

With summer in full swing, I thought I would share a recipe for a refreshing drink that my mom made for us growing up. It is especially useful to stay hydrated while replenishing essential minerals lost in the heat. And if your little one is like mine, who refuses to drink water, this is perfect to have them stay hydrated! You could make this in bulk and store for up to a week or so. The ingredients are all easily available in every household with the exception of perhaps black salt. Black salt is a type of rock salt mostly found in the Himalayas and is easily available in the international aisle of most grocery stores. If you cannot find it, just substitute with regular salt.

Hope you enjoyed the video. You can drink this up to twice in a day! As always, please be sure to test for allergies while trying anything new. And avoid honey for children under the age of 1.
