Fashion Friday – Dressing Up for A Night Out :)

With Diwali season behind us, we are gearing up for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas! We were invited to dinner this past weekend and I struggled to dress myself for this crazy weather where it is hot one minute and then raining the next, sunny right after and freezing cold the next! Why, oh why, must you be so confusing, Mother Nature! I mean, I was in a cold shoulder sweater this past Sunday. I have officially dubbed that as my “Mother Nature is drunk outfit!”

Anyway, while I was looking in my wardrobe for an outfit to suit the ever-changing moods of the fickle weather, I found this dress that I had kept from one of my past Stitch Fix boxes. I have worn it once before and decided this was going to be it! Charu has shared one of her Stitch Fix boxes in a video unveiling before and if you were thinking about giving it a shot it is super easy and a lot of fun! Click here to see how! (affiliate link)

Here is what I wore and links to all of the pieces from the outfit that evening! I carried a light jacket with me to layer if I needed to at all. We were going to be indoors and the most I wore the jacket for was for the walk from the car to their house.

Necklace / Kut from The Kloth Dress  / Shoes / Similar Clutch / Earrings / Similar Kate Spade Bracelet

The necklace is one of my favorite staples from Nordstrom and goes with everything! The best part is that it is under $10 but dresses up any outfit in minutes! The dress, like I said before, is from Stitch Fix. I love my stylist and has been awesome with all my requests and boxes. IMG_3773These are the new Nickel and Suede earrings that I ordered over the Buy One Give One promotion a couple weeks ago. I LOVE them and they are perfect for all of my Fall neutrals. I very rarely wear heels these days but figured that I could pull these off that day. They are comfortable but I am just plain out of practice! My shoe collection pre-kids and post kids looks very different but on occasion I get to turn back time for a little bit when I know I most likely will not have to chase them around. I hedged my bets well that day and I must say that nothing beats what heels can do for a dress! My clutch is a present from my sister and I carry it all the time. It is the perfect size to carry my gloss, cards and cell phone and the best part is that it wraps around my wrist so I don’t have to “carry” it. I couldn’t find the exact same one but have linked up this leopard print one that I think would look really cute with any neutral outfit and this one that is an awesome price with great style! I wish I had taken a picture with the jacket on, I guess we will save that for another day!

So stay tuned! Tell us what you liked from this look! We would love to hear from you!
