Holiday Outfit! – OOTD

Time to Shine in Holiday Styles from Rebecca Taylor, Rachel Comey and More at NORDSTROM.

There is something about this time of year that I love. There is always something fun to do. Regardless of how you celebrate the holidays it is just a wonderful time of year to meet family and friends and catch up. We have a bunch of parties that are lined up for this time of year and in addition to that my husband’s birthday is exactly 10 days before Christmas. We just celebrated his birthday with my sister who is visiting us and then followed through with what has become our annual tradition for the third year running is watching the latest Star Wars movie with some of our dearest friends! It gives me a chance to get out of my usual sweats and play dress up! I figured since I have not shared an outfit post with you all in a while this would have to be it 🙂

Similar Dress / Boots / Clutch / Leggings / Earrings

I wore this outfit to a friend’s birthday celebration and although it was a slightly cold night I was able to pull of this one shoulder dress with leggings and my comfy but gorgeous boots that I always rely on this time of year. Funny story with the dress is that I bought it when I was pregnant with my eldest and you know how much I love a dress that can be worn while pregnant and can still transition into your wardrobe post partum. I was not able to find the same dress but have linked up one that is similar here and here. These boots are 50% off at Nordstrom right now putting them at just under $200 and they are gorgeous! They are very similar to the ones I am wearing and that cognac color is without a doubt my favorite. It goes with everything and they are so comfortable! I am wearing the Viv leggings I swear by –  they are high waisted and perfect for that little pooch, bonus is that Viv does a fleece lined legging too for that extra warmth! At less than $12 for these leggings they are totally worth the price! For you LuLaRoe lovers they also have some really good patterns for you, 40 different patterns to be exact!

I kept the accessories simple with my favorite pair of In a hurry? Try curbside pickup.href=””>Nickel and Suede earrings and a brown belt to cinch the dress at my waist. The clutch was a present from my sister last year and it is one that you probably see the most in my posts! It was a brown and gold kinda night and that clutch was made to go with this outfit! I have never found the exact clutch that she picked out for me but I have passed over on this leopard print clutch that I love!

We had a great night out and I am glad I dusted this outfit out of my closet after almost 5 years of it hibernating in my closet. The last time it saw the light of day was in Key West pre-kids, ha! Stay tuned for my make-up video that I will be sharing this week as well! Getting ready for these holiday parties can be so much fun!
